Adrian has been described as a cross between Errol Flynn and Douglas Fairbanks, but most of his fans liken him to a young Sean Connery. Born and raised in London, he studied Shakespeare and performed in several plays in school, but his main focus was sp orts; playing cricket, rugby and, eventually, semi-pro soccer. Later, Adrian traveled throughout Europe where he modeled, danced and choreographed for eight years before moving to New York and finally settling in Los Angeles.

His first acting role was on the ABC Television series "The Colby's" where he portrayed a Russian ballet dancer based on the Mikhail Baryshnikov character in the motion picture "White Nights." Other roles soon followed with good reviews in the off-Broad way play "Bouncers," feature films such as "Last Rites" with Tom Berenger, "Mask of the Red Death," and with Sandra Bullock in the Dale Launer comedy, "Love Potion Number Nine." Some of Adrian's television credits include guest appearances on such shows as "Murder, She Wrote," "Dark Shadows" and "Beauty and the Beast" and Movies-of-the-Week such as "The Owl" and "Shooter." He was also a series regular on "War of the Worlds." More recently, Adrian spent six weeks in the Philippines co-starring with Mich ael Biehn and Kathleen York in LIVE Entertainment's action-drama "Rangers."

Having been a history buff in school, Adrian was well-prepared for his role as the "Highlander." That, combined with several years of martial arts training and a love for accents and comedy, made him a natural. "None of the other characters I have play ed compare to the complexity of Duncan MacLeod. A man who is not afraid to love, cry or stand up for the things he believes in. A man who is peaceful by nature but a warrior at heart," said Paul.

Coming back to the show for its sixth season Adrian says, "It never ceases to surprise me how many people follow the series worldwide... even as far afield as the Philippines, Thailand and Japan. I asked myself, 'Why?' and could come up with only one an swer... 'Quality!' I believe HIGHLANDER: THE SERIES has improved the quality of its stories, production values, acting and directing every year that we've been on the air! Hopefully, we can do that again in year six."

Adrian, who has directed episodes of HIGHLANDER: THE SERIES in seasons four and five (including the historic 100th episode of the series), will also direct episodes in the upcoming sixth season.
