Physics & Science

I've always had an interest in Science, Why are we here & are we alone in the unimaginable universe?, What an earth goes on inside an Atom & can Quantum theory really be true?,  Is it possible to travel in time & if so is it only possible to travel in one direction? Is the Universe finite or Infinite & if so will it flicker out of existence ending everything including time itself?

These are some of the questions I ponder about sometimes, I have my own ideas, doesn't everyone?  I love to read about these subjects & try to understand what I'm reading which is sometimes quite difficult as the mathematics used is way beyond my understanding, but so long as I can understand the conceptual ideas I'm happy.

In this part of my site I have tried to put together lots of useful scientific information that can be used as a reference area not just for myself but for anyone else who has an interest in this vast & fascination subject.  I hope you find it interesting & useful.

Note:    Many parts of this area are currently under construction.

The amazing life & achievements of Richard Feynman. A man who started at
an early age fixing radios, went on to help develop the atomic bomb at Los Alamos, became a musician, artist, safe cracker & Professor of Physics, winning the Nobel prize in 1965. A very mischievous but honest man who was a genius at complex mathematics. Just before his death in 1988 he was appointed to the committee investigating the 'Challenger' disaster, he discovered the reason why the shuttle blew up. Read more about this incredible character & if you ever get the chance read his book 'Surely
you're joking Mr. Feynman' .... its hard to put down once started.
